El texto que sigue es de Albert Loaso y describe perfectamente cada una de las 8 viñetas:
1) Una vez pasada la cinta por el cuello de la camisa, dejar
unos 4 cm. más de distancia hacia abajo del faldón derecho al izquierdo. Doblar el
faldón derecho por encima del izquierdo.
2) El faldón derecho, al pasar por el cuello crea un nudo que hay que apretar. Para
comprobar que los dos faldones están correctos tienen que estar al mismo nivel.
3) Se crea la primera figura de la pajarita doblando según se indica el faldón
izquierdo.
4) Se cruza el faldón derecho por encima del pliego del izquierdo.
5) Se recoge el faldón derecho y lo pasamos al mismo tiempo que lo doblamos por entre el
espacio que existe entre la parte interior del pliego del faldón izquiero y el nudo que
sujeta la cinta a la camisa.
6) Acabamos de pasar el trozo del faldón derecho hasta que se empieza a dibujar la
pajarita.
7 y 8) Introduciendo los dedos medios en cada uno de los lazos y tirando al mismo
tiempo con los pulgares e indices de ambas manos vamos tensando cada uno de los extremos
del pliego de la pajarita. Así conseguimos un nudo limpio que para comprobar si está
bien realizado se tiene que deshacer con la mayor facilidad al tirar de los extremos de
cada faldón.

1. Drape the tie around your neck, and cross the left piece over the right. The
piece now in your right hand should be about 1 1/2 inches longer than your left.
2. Draw the right piece up and under the loop around your neck.
3. Make a bow with the left piece and draw it up to the right.
4. Drop the other piece down and in front of the right bow. Take some time here to be sure
that the right bow and top piece are well formed and tight against your neck. Hold the
forming knot with your left hand.
5. Make the start of a bow in the hanging piece, and push it through the opening behind
the right bow and in front of the original crossover on your neck, up and toward the left,
extending the bow as you continue to push the tie through. Don't let the knot loosen
during this step.
6. As the left bow forms, the knot tightens and the tie begins to take shape.
7 & 8. With a finger in each bow, and using a thumb and another finger on each side,
pull to shape the tie correctly and tighten the center knot.
